i know i just showed you all those fabulous presents i got for my birthday, but i couldn’t possibly deprive you of a my monthly wish list post could i?! no, i’m not a monster! i’m a girl (a girl who is in a silly mood) and there are always things that catch my eye and make me think ‘ah, but if only i had the money/space/need/skill’ – no doubt you’re the same. so after an arduous month of internet window shopping, what’s on the love list this month?

seen on anthropologie. oh hanging chair, i see you there, all knotted and groovy. you’re hanging from the fig tree in our garden and its early summer when the air is gently warm and the sun hasn’t reached its maximum kill-ray 5000 strength yet. and hanging chair, i’m sitting, swinging, maybe sipping a mojito, and you’re hanging and being fabulous. and i have great hair and i’m possibly wearing a sweet lily pullitzer shift…(whispered) i love you hanging chair.

seen on: next via retro to go. oh i see what you’re doing, stacking mugs… you’re all like “hey what’s up, we stack neatly” but really you stack neatly and have a cute 70′s design. don’t think i don’t see it – ‘cos its right there in yellow and green for everyone to see. and you know what? i like it. i applaud your colourful candour. the world needs more mugs – nay, products in general – like you!
seen on artic design. hackman summer casserole, i’m going to go out on a limb here and say you’re the second best looking casserole pot i’ve ever seen. i know its a big claim, but really you’re very good looking. and i don’t just say that to every casserole pot i meet. i like your pea pod, and you onion.. me? oh you know, i like to make soups and boil pasta.. y’know, the usual. wanna come up to my cupboard?

seen on saison. alain gree house print, you make me wish i had more children so i had more children’s rooms to decorate. “go on, just one little girl” i hear you say. but will you get up for those night feeds, print? will you change the nappies? no. you’ll just hang there looking so cute that i won’t be able to stay mad at you!

and YOU, vasa irregular shape 2 sculpture, are the hardest to bare of all! your only function is to be beautiful – and oh my, how well you’re doing that. i can see that you know my only weakness is art.. and i promise when i have a minimalist lightfilled loft apartment somewhere, i will buy you. you’re magical xx

loooooove Alain Gree!
Love those mugs of course and that cool hanging chair! wow!
That vase looked like a high tech paper airplane!!! WOWZIE!
Oh Dear God I need that Chair!
(and the hair and the breeze and the mojito thank you)
That hanging chair is totally amazing! If I ever don’t live in an apartment and have a tree and/or a verandah I am getting me one of those. I’d rather a campari and soda, if you don’t mind, but I would very much like the good hair if that’s ok?
I love all these!
PS. I just stumbled onto your blog! It’s simply lovely!
{eleise} – thank you! i love maintaining it
What a beautiful collection you’ve put together; that casserole pot is the best ever – I want!
I have an old stacking mug that used to be my Nana’s – it has a red and orange floral print and I love it so.
I love Alain Gree as well! I thought about buying the poster with the children holding hands in a circle but I too, am running out of room on my (soon to be) little one’s room!
yvetter claire – ugh its so CRUEL that there can only be so much wall space, right? and congratulation on your soon to be little one
