i used to go crazy for this kinda stuff as a child. if it was small, cheap and rubbish i was all over it. even now as an adult who should know better i’m having a hard time now spending all my pocket money on shell charms and silly stickers.
some of these items are really worth a closer look, the silly stickers include one that says “your girdle is on backwards!” which i’m sure was hilarious at the time. the plastic cereal charms include copyright dodging respellings such as “corn PCP’s” and “honey smaokes” mm-mmm! a great way to start your day!
so were you a lucky-dip and dollar-store fiend as a child too? my local toy store would do lucky dip type things that were little erasers etc wrapped up into a ball of streamers. the anticipation alone was worth the $1 they cost.

hahaha i loooved a lucky dip. i used to get them at this flea market near us, usually got a bit of crap in them, but i agree – the anticipation was worth the 1 dollar (which is loads when you are 6 years old!) lovin the colours here!!
