shiver me timbers! new print ahoy: now with added good karma!

ahoy, matey! tired of your landlubber’s cabin lacking a touch of the briney blue? net yourself this print and bring the spirit of the old sea dog’s life inside. seaside elements in three shades of ocean teal and a tarnished gold/olive create a playful, but restrained design that would suit both captain’s chambers or cabin boy’s… well, cabin! and to make this treasure more tempting than a piece of eight, a portion of all sale’s will go to oceana to help protect the world’s oceans.

this beauty is half the size of my previous prints, so if you’re after something smaller in size and price this could for you. for further information, see the etsy listing. stay tuned for an independent webstore, coming soon!
new in the draw! pilgrim store: ‘alphabet series’ prints

you might remember seeing these prints before, in my interview on the vine. now after some minor tweaking and improvement they are available for purchase.
The alphabet series is a collection of 26 prints based on the letters of the alphabet. Some are literal connections between letter and object (eg: R is for Rabbit) and some are more abstract, but all experiment with the combination of shape, color and negative space.
over the next couple of days i will be listing the rest of the alphabet so keep your eyes on the store for your favorite

have you visited the draw! pilgrim etsy store recently? there are some new treasures to amuse you and more coming in the next few weeks. i can’t wait to show you. first, is this bold and cheery alphabet print. and guess what – it comes in two different colorways! oooh! variety! pictured above is the vintage inspired ‘sundae’ color palette. and below we have ‘gumball’ bold, bright and fun for all!
i’ve been dying to do an alphabet print, since i was about 7. i used to love making ABC books and have had a life long love affair with alphabetizing things so i definitely felt qualified to design this print. i must confess my son helped me a little bit though. he’s just so good at his ABC’s!
did you see i also stock little scalloped tags in my store now as well? they feature the ‘scandinavian folk’ design and are so cute and versatile. you could use them on gifts, scrapbooking, favors, food flags or just throw them at people who you love -they’ll get the message! what other uses can you think of for these cutie-pie tags?
draw! pilgrim shop news: mini cards!

if you follow me on twitter, this might be old news to you but in case you missed it: TA DA! i did some more etsy listing and now have 5-pack’s of mini cards and envelopes to offer you. there is one for just about every occasion (maybe no gnome cards in bereavement times unless you know the people, ok?) and if you’re not satisfied using them for greetings and correspondence you can also use them for invitations or gift tags! aaah… see? always thinking.
they are mini though, just a precious little 70x95mm (3×3.7 inches). just big enough for tea parties, fairy meetings or pretending you’re a giant. did i mention they’re blank inside? i really hate it when your card says everything you had to say before you get a chance to write it. i’m always tempted to drag out the thesaurus and just add synonyms to swap out what the card already said. or just add under the card’s message “yep. i agree with the card” or “ditto”. not very personal, and i know you’re all creative enough to write lovely things about your gift recipients!
and of course there is the option to buy an assorted pack of mini cards, so you’re prepared for all mini occasions! what a mini triumph of planning and organization!
stay tuned next week for another etsy new release!
